“A CAPTIVATING ATMOSPHERE, INFORMED BY ROMANIAN FOLK MUSIC  AND  BUTTRESSED BY THE READINGS OF NATIVE PROVERBS AND UNSTRUCTURED IMPROVISATIONS.”- All About Jazz

George Dumitriu  colaborated with Ambrose Akinmusire, Theo Loevendie, Michael Moore, Ab Baars, Benny Golson, Peter Herbolzheimer and Kaja Draksler. The slovenian drummer is a semifinalist of the Monk Competition in Washington. Magatelli is well known on the italian jazz scene, having worked with musicians such as Guido Manusardi.

MATTIA MAGATELLI, double bass, electric bass

| website

My first experiences were with popular, punk and rock music, when I started to play guitar, accordion and electric bass (a lot of fun but not professionally). In 2000, I began studying double bass and music. In 2001 I moved to Milan attending Civic School of Jazz for two years. I then continued to study by myself. I started at that time to play internationally with a lot of cool musicians.
